“Cologne’s musical heritage is diverse and runs through many different genres. Electronic music is home to the independent label “Modularfield,” which was founded in 2014 in the Mülheim district. In order not to let the multi-faceted music history be forgotten, the label has conceived the “Popular Music Tales”: Four different tours accompanied by artists* whose music was released through the label. It gives a brief insight into Cologne’s music history around jazz, electronic music and krautrock.”
