Monochrome blue, also known as International Klein Blue, is the trademark of French artist Yves Klein. Even before he finally became an international superstar of art, he participated in the construction of the Musiktheater im Revier (MiR) in Gelsenkirchen with his works at the invitation of the architect Werner Ruhnau.
