Nicht immer geliebt. Aber auch nicht mehr wegzudenken. <\/p>\n

2018, im Europ\u00e4ischen Kulturerbejahr, stellte das Projekt \u201eBig Beautiful Buildings\u201c all die Kirchen, Wohnsiedlungen, Kulturst\u00e4dten und Stadtgeb\u00e4ude in den Fokus, die mit ihrer massiven Bauweise mitten in der Ruhrgebietslandschaft prangen \u2013 und machte die Architektur der Boomjahre damit als gemeinsames Erbe aus einer neuen Perspektive erlebbar. Und wie das so ist mit gro\u00df(artig)en Geb\u00e4uden: Sie haben Bestand. Sie sind immer noch da. Ich war dort und zeige dir meine sch\u00f6nsten Big Beautiful Buildings \u2013 und was du dort machen kannst. Die f\u00fcnfgeschossigen, kreuzf\u00f6rmigen Terrassenh\u00e4user sollten in einer netzartigen Struktur beliebig aneinandergef\u00fcgt werden k\u00f6nnen. In ihrer Bauweise mit den gro\u00dfen, privaten Terrassen sind sie als Alternative zum typischen Einfamilienhaus gedacht.
